Shipping Policy

This policy is set out as a division of responsibility: in each section, what Field & Fitness commits to do, and what the customer needs to do for it to work. Where a number is given, it is the number Field & Fitness works to.

Coverage area

What Field & Fitness commits to do: deliver to street addresses, PO boxes and military APO/FPO addresses throughout the United States, and to state plainly at checkout when an address cannot be served.

What we ask of you: check the delivery country before confirming. International delivery is not offered, and a parcel cannot be forwarded abroad by an agent.

Where an address falls outside the coverage area, the checkout declines the order before payment is taken, so no charge is raised for a parcel that could not be sent. Orders addressed outside the United States are refused at the border, so the delivery country should be checked before an order is confirmed.

Alaska, Hawaii and the US territories are served, but on a slower service that adds two to three working days to the transit figure below. That is a limit of the carrier network rather than a choice Field & Fitness makes.

Where a customer is unsure whether an address can be served, Field & Fitness will confirm before the order is placed rather than after the payment has been taken.

Warehouse processing

What Field & Fitness commits to do: pick, pack and label every order confirmed before 1pm on a working day the next business day, and dispatch anything later on the next working day.

What we ask of you: place the order early enough in the day to meet the cut-off, and check that the delivery address and contact number are complete before confirming.

The warehouse operates Monday to Friday and does not dispatch on public holidays. Every parcel is packed and checked by hand, and fragile or oversized items receive additional protection, which can add one working day.

Where dispatch will take longer than the stated target, Field & Fitness emails the customer rather than leaving the delay to be inferred from the tracking.

The dispatch target applies to orders that clear payment verification. Where a payment is referred for a routine check, the clock starts once that check is complete, and the customer is told if this affects the estimate.

Delivery in transit

What Field & Fitness commits to do: hand the parcel to the carrier within the stated dispatch target, and provide the transit estimate 3 to 6 business days from the first scan.

What we ask of you: allow for the full window rather than the shortest figure, and tell Field & Fitness before ordering where the parcel is needed for a fixed date.

Transit is counted in working days from the carrier scan, not from the order time. Rural routes, mountain districts and island territories normally sit at the upper end of the window.

One national carrier handles every parcel, so an individual parcel cannot be upgraded or re-routed once collected.

Where a delay is caused by weather or carrier disruption, Field & Fitness notifies affected customers rather than waiting for them to make contact.

Charges and rates

What Field & Fitness commits to do: apply free standard shipping once the merchandise total reaches $52 before tax, and show any charge clearly at checkout before payment.

What we ask of you: check the total before confirming, particularly where a basket sits just below the free-shipping threshold.

No per-item surcharge and no handling fee is applied. Adding a second item to an order does not increase the shipping charge, because the parcel was being sent regardless.

No express tier is offered; all orders travel on the same tracked ground service, which keeps both the promise and the pricing predictable.

Shipping rates are reviewed periodically. The rate that applies to an order is the rate displayed at checkout at the moment the order is confirmed.

Tracking updates

What Field & Fitness commits to do: email a tracking number once the carrier scans the parcel, normally within 24 hours of dispatch, and raise a trace where tracking stops moving.

What we ask of you: allow for the fact that tracking updates at sorting hubs rather than continuously, so a quiet page is not by itself evidence of a problem.

Where tracking shows no movement for two working days, write to [email protected] with the order reference and a trace will be opened with the carrier.

The outcome of a trace, including a declaration that the parcel is lost, is communicated in writing, and a replacement or refund is offered at that point.

Where a trace concludes that a parcel cannot be located, the claim is settled with the customer rather than left open while the carrier completes its internal paperwork.

Parcel problems

What Field & Fitness commits to do: pursue any damage, loss or error claim with the carrier on the customer's behalf, and offer a replacement or refund once the claim is confirmed.

What we ask of you: report a damaged, incomplete or incorrect delivery within seven days, and attach photographs of the item and its packaging.

Retain the outer box and internal protection until the matter is closed, because carriers often ask to inspect the packaging and a claim can stall without it.

If no replacement can be supplied because the line has sold out, the refund is issued and the customer is informed straight away.

Address corrections

What Field & Fitness commits to do: apply a corrected address where the request arrives before the carrier scans the parcel, and arrange a second dispatch where a parcel is returned undelivered.

What we ask of you: send the order reference and the complete corrected address to [email protected] as soon as a mistake is noticed.

After the first carrier scan the destination is fixed, and neither Field & Fitness nor the carrier can alter it.

Where a second dispatch is required because of an address error, the cost falls to the customer, since the first attempt has already been paid for. Where the error was Field & Fitness's, the second dispatch is at no cost.
